Gaara's Lovely Spring No fav

A group of kids are playing in the sand village.
“Great, now what?” a boy says. One of the kids had kicked the ball onto a cliff. *sft* A little boy with red hair got the ball down somehow using sand.
“It’s Gaara!” one of them yelled. They all started to run.
“No! Come back! Play with me!” the boy yelled. You walk up to him.
“I’ll play with you.”
“Um…okay,” he said shyly, “What do you want to play?”
“Um… catch?” He nodded yes and you played with him for a while.
“That girl must be crazy.” The kids all started to whisper to each other and even though you could hear them you didn’t care what they said.
“So, you don’t think I’m a monster like everyone else?” Gaara asked.
“Huh? They think you’re a monster? So that’s why they ran away from you. I was wondering about that. And, no, I don’t think you’re a monster.” Then, your mom came out and saw you playing with Gaara.
“*Gasp!* Haru! What do you think you’re doing?!?!? Get away from that monster!”
“What monster?”
“That THING you’re playing catch with!” You looked at Gaara and said sorry. You walked over to your mom. “You’re lucky you weren’t killed!”
“Why would I be killed? The “thing” I was playing catch with was a person. A boy named Gaara. He’s my friend because I don’t see why people think he’s a monster. Unless I’m the only one who can see around here.” Hearing this, Gaara smiled and went home, too.
“Don’t be a smartass young lady!”
“Mommy, that’s a bad word!” As your voices traveled off into the distance, Gaara could help but smile, even when he was home.
“So tell me. What happened that you’re smiling?” Yashamaru asked.
“I have a friend!”

Yay! First story so don’t kill me. It was somewhat short but oh well. There will be more. Btw, your name, Haru, means “spring” in Japanese (now u know why it’s called “Gaara’s Lovely Spring” ). And I’ll miss key things in my story but I don’t care. You can find a fitting in the story if you want. Or just forget about those.
